Their groundbreaking albums Entertainment! (1979) and Solid Gold (1981) became cult classics, influencing generations of artists across genres.

After multiple reformations, the band returned in 2022 with original members Jon King and Hugo Burnham, joined by David Pajo (Slint) and bassist Sara Lee.
